Hi from Patrizia!

Patrizia’s Venice is one to be discovered. Aside from her apartment right in the centre of la Serenissima, in fact, our Cesarina also owns an apartment on Venice’s Lido. Its poetry may be different from the typical imagery of the city of canals, however it is equally fascinating. Giudecca and San Marco are in the background, together with the many little islands which decorate the Laguna’s landscape. Here, just few steps away from open sea, we find the real maritime soul of these lands.The same that was able to create, over centuries, a culinary heritage of delicious typical dishes, often enriched with flavours from faraway lands.

We had an incredible time with Patrizia and her husband Adriano. We were grateful that they provided a person to be there who was translating everything for us. We had special food requests (no meat) and we were accommodated. The foods we prepared were bruschetta, risotto, and fish. All along we sipped local wine and ended with grappa and dessert. The home of the host was very special and they showed us many pieces by local artists. Overall we are completely happy with our experience. Everyone was charming and welcoming. This was a highlight of our trip to Venice and if we return we will visit Patrizia to learn how to prepare fresh pasta! Thank you!

I really enjoyed my time with Patrizia. My friend and I met up with a friend who provided much of the translation, and also added a lot of local insight. Patrizia had a lovely home and everything was setup when we arrived. I had never cooked a fish that way or prepared risotto, so it was fun and educational. Finally we had lunch on the roof which was cool, clean and lovely. I would definitely come back to this group again !

What a wonderful time we had with Patricia!!! Such a pleasure to be in her home and laugh and cook with her. Patricia has such a vibrant, sweet spirit and her teaching was easy. We will definitely be doing this again with her when we return to Venice. This is a such a unique and special experience!!!

This was our first Airbnb experience and an unforgettable one! It started with Adriano and Marianna picking us up at a lovely piazza close to San Marco. We quickly walked over to the apartment where Patrizia (our main host and Master Chef) was warmly waiting for us at the door. The house was beautifully decorated and Patrizia’s energy was very contagious. Meeting her was the highlight of the night! We understand a bit of Italian, but Marianna is also very quick to translate everything, she was also lovely. We prepared a typical Venetian meal, which was delicious and even got to-go rissotto leftovers!!! We definitely recommend this to any visitors coming to Venice! Grazie mille!!
