My grandfather used to tell me the fairy tale of the three sisters who lived in the garden and helped each other. I later discovered that it was actually a true story. The cultivation method is a combination of three plants, corn, beans, and squash, which together contribute something to the sowing and were once grown together. I decided to marry these three sisters with three principles, three Slow Food presidia, to create our own fairy tale at the table. Corn with Formadi frant, pumpkin with Pestat di Fagagna, and beans with Pitina.
