We are in a neighborhood filled with art and history, where you can admire masterpieces like the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, the Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio (a burst of mosaic) and one of the most prestigious Italian universities, located within a former Benedictine monastery. In this residential neighborhood, dating back to the early 1900s and just a few steps from the Basilica, Laura welcomes us into her home’s intimate and warm atmosphere, decorated with a vintage flavor. Our Cesarina is Milanese by adoption and Venetian by birth. She likes to search out the ancient recipes of her birthplace and present them to her guests with a touch of innovation. At Laura’s table, you find Milanese excellence with some unusual Venetian side dishes. A winning liaison!

- We loved the experience with our host, Laura and her boyfriend. She welcomed us at her beautiful vintage home and cooked autentic Italian dinner. We heard stories about the food and learned lot about the culture.

- My 20 year old daughter and I booked this class while in Milan. It was an amazing experience. Laura was so nice to share her home and secret recipes. She was very patient, explained everything and took time to answer any questions or give tips to get perfect pasta and tiramisu. The dinner (and wine) were absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed her time and company (and her husband's). We will definitively recommend and do this class again if we have the opportunity.
- This was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. Our hosts Laura and Filippo made us feel very welcome in their home, we had a great discussion and left feeling a sense of friendship. We really appreciate, that the host personalised the menu based on our wishes. We cooked a great ossobuco with risotto milanese and made also a mascarpone cream with home made biscuits for desert. We got a lot of tips and tricks that we will definitely use at home. After the cooking was done, we sat to the table and enjoyed the food with a fabulous wine, it was a little peek into a lifestyle of Itlaians. We definitely recommend this experience.
