Nearly 300 years have passed since the creation of the first Pasticciotto Leccese, but its success is far from tarnished, finding a large group of passionate foodies not only in Italy but also abroad.

The name "Pasticciotto" (also known as "Bocconotto") comes from the fact that these sweets are small enough to be eaten in one bite, perhaps accompanied by raisin wine. Some time ago we presented you with a recipe for making the original Pasticciotto Leccese. But as happens to all successful dishes, with time variants have been invented that deviate from the original version while maintaining its main characteristic: gluttony!
