Nearly 300 years have passed since the creation of the first Pasticciotto Leccese, but its success is far from tarnished, finding a large group of passionate foodies not only in Italy but also abroad.
The name "Pasticciotto" (also known as "Bocconotto") comes from the fact that these sweets are small enough to be eaten in one bite, perhaps accompanied by raisin wine.
